France Bois Forêt (FBF) is the national interprofessional organisation of the forest-wood sector in France. It brings together 15 active members representing the main operators in the forestry and wood-processing sectors.
FBF collects the compulsory interprofessional Contribution (known as CVO) paid by he forestry and wood sectors operators. Since 2004, FBF has supported more than 1,000 collective action programs funded by the CVO to promote the French forests and the multiple uses of wood.
As the 2019-2022 interprofessional agreement signed by the 15 members of FBF is due to be renewed for the period 2023-2025, FBF wishes to question its active members on the relevance and impacts of the six pillars of the 2019-2022 agreement, as well as the programs included in these pillars, in order to use this feedback to finalize the new 2023-2025 agreement.
The services provided were as follows:
- Scoping of the study and document review on the programs carried out by FBF, as well as the websites and main presentation documents of each of the 15 active members;
- Interviews with representatives of active members to gather their views on the strengths and weaknesses of the current agreement, on the relevance and impact of its six pillars and of the programmes funded so far, on the key issues to be included in the new agreement, on FBF's communication (internally and externally, in particular with public authorities and the general public), on the complementarity between the actions financed by FBF and those financed by the regional inter-branch organisations (FIBOIS);
- Cross-analysis of the interviews, drafting of a summary and recommendations on the formulation of the pillars for the next agreement, and presentation of the results to FBF Board.
