Revision of Guinea-Bissau’s Nationally Determined Contribution
SalvaTerra carried out a diagnosis in the priority sectors of the NDC (Energy and AFOLU) relating to:
1) The progress made in the implementation of commitments since 2015,
2) Programmes/projects planned for the period 2020-2030 with an impact on greenhouse gas emissions,
3) New data available to establish the baseline – Greenhouse gas inventories,
4) If necessary in capacity building of the national teams in charge of the IGES.
The support ended with the launch of the review process of the Climate NDC of Guinea Bissau on 10 March 2021, in the presence of the Minister of Environment and the partners of the ECOWAS project, Expertise France, Projections, CILSS-Agrhymet.
