Vincent BASSERIE

Technical Assistant - Agricultural Land Reform in Guinea

He is an engineer in tropical agronomy and chief engineer of bridges, water and forests. He has worked for 21 years in the framework of French cooperation, notably as a technical assistant in support of the development or implementation of national land policies (Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso). He also held two positions covering all of West Africa, which led him to intervene in support of the project management of land reforms in several countries, particularly those of the Sahelian strip. He then positioned himself for 3 years as an independent consultant specializing in rural or agricultural land issues. He has performed various services in West Africa, Central Africa and Madagascar. He joined SalvaTerra in 2021 and holds the position of Permanent Technical Assistant in support of Guinea's agricultural land policy development. His extensive experience (26 years) makes him a key figure in operational support for land reforms, particularly in West Africa. He is also a member of the "Comité Technique Foncier & Développement" of the French cooperation.
