Tropical agro-forestry engineer (AgroParisTech), he began his international career in 2010 at FAO by carrying out a study on the socio-economic impact of non-timber forest products in Africa. The following year, he contributed to the development of forest management plans in Gabon. In 2012, he worked for CIFOR in Indonesia where he analyzed the dynamics of oil palm expansion in Borneo, in areas with high environmental stakes. In 2013 and 2014, he worked in the Ecuadorian Amazon with the University of Missouri where he coordinated forest inventories and surveys of rural households. In 2016, he worked with the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI) on a meta-analysis of sustainability initiatives and standards in the palm oil sector. Since the end of 2016, he has joined the SalvaTerra team. He has 13 years of experience in rural development and sustainable management of natural resources. He is a versatile expert who has demonstrated his ability to hold positions of responsibility and conduct complex studies.
