Context of the service

ISARA offers the in-depth training "Agroecological Transition of Mediterranean Agriculture" for the M2 level.

This training is devoted to Mediterranean agricultural systems: market gardening, perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants (PPAM), arboriculture, vines, sheep and goat breeding, agroforestry, etc.

It therefore addresses both plant and animal production, highlighting their interactions necessary in the agroecological transition.

It includes a module dedicated to the realization of value-chain field studies by students. In order to equip them, experts from different backgrounds are called upon to intervene during this module.

Services provided

SalvaTerra facilitated two courses:

- The notion of value-chain, its use in agronomy, the value-chain approach and the diagnosis of agricultural value-chains.

- Agricultural economics at the meso-economic scale of the value-chain, integrating elements of macro-economics and micro-economics.

Both courses incorporate theoretical and conceptual elements from the literature, practical tools and participatory case studies.
