Anaëlle is an agro-environmental engineer graduated from AgroParisTech and holds a master’s degree in social sciences in agriculture and the environment. She has 8 years of varied professional experiences in agricultural and environmental project management, mainly in Europe and Africa.
She worked for the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL in Switzerland for a year (2014-2015), where she assessed the sustainability of agri-food sectors. Then, she worked for two years (2015-2017) in France and occasionally in Côte d’Ivoire for the SCE design office on Integrated Water Resources Management. Then, between 2018 and 2023, she joined AFD – French Development Cooperation, first as project manager for “agriculture, environment, microfinance and NGOs” in Ghana (2018-2020), then as “forestry and agriculture” project manager for the Secretariat of the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM) (2021), and finally as project manager for “urban drinking water” in Nigeria (2022-2023).

La biodiversité mondiale est largement méconnue : 1,9 millions d’espèces sont répertoriées dans le Catalogue of Life mais il en existerait a priori quatre fois plus, soit 8,7 millions ! Et sur ces 8,7 millions, près d’un million sont menacées d’extinction… La 6ème extinction de masse de la biodiversité est en cours.
